Educational Activities
The educational activities of the Kshethra have many dimensions and are carried out through the following initiatives:
Samskrutha and Veda Shikshana
Samskrutha and Veda education is imparted through Sri Ganesha Saveda Samskrutha Paathashaala. In addition to free education, accommodation, clothing, and food, special scholarships are provided to deserving students. A scholarship of ₹1,000 per month for a period of 10 years is granted to students who commit to completing the full 10-year Veda course.
Modern Education
Affordable and quality education from Class I to X is provided through two CBSE-affiliated residential schools:
- Sri Maruthi Residential School, Bangaramakki, Uttara Kannada
- Vidya Bharati – Sri Guruji International Residential School, Hosanagara, Shivamogga District
Scholarships
Scholarships are provided to economically disadvantaged students to support their education from Class I up to the Ph.D. level.
Assistance to Schools
Financial and material assistance, or both, is provided to schools and colleges.
Art & Music Education (Training in Performing Arts)
Yakshagaana Vihaara has trained more than eighty artists in singing, Maddale, Chande, and Nruthya.
Free music education is offered to interested individuals through Sangeetha Ganga Hindustani Classical Music School, Honnavar. More than two hundred students have completed their training and received certificates. Currently, forty students are undergoing training.
Personality Development Education
Personality development programs are conducted through short-term training camps (1 to 7 days) covering Legal Awareness, Sanskrit, English speaking courses, and related subjects.
