CELECT Foundation is a charitable trust founded by the young and dynamic spiritual leader
Sri Maruthi Guruji, the Dharmadhikari of Sri Veeranjaneya Kshethra,
Bangaramakki, Gerusoppa , Uttara Kannada District. The Foundation provides an institutional
framework for continuously carrying out various philanthropic activities initiated and
guided by him along with his followers.

Patronage and Promotion of Art & Culture

Malenada Uthsava

Started as a biennial festival in 2008, Malenada Uthsava has so far staged more than one
hundred art forms, involving over six thousand artists, both men and women.

Promotion of Rare Art Forms

Sri Guruji travels extensively to identify lost art forms and those on the verge of
extinction. So far, twenty such rare art forms have been brought into the limelight and
showcased during Malenada Uthsava.

Sri Kshethra is continuously engaged in reviving extinct art forms by motivating the
younger generation, arranging training programs, and providing financial assistance to
economically weak artists.

Yaksha Pournime

Yaksha Pournime is a fortnight-long Yakshagana festival held during the Shukla Paksha of
the Ashwija month. It begins on the first day of Navarathri and concludes on Pournime
(Full Moon Day).

Hemapura

Hemapura is a monthly spiritual magazine that has been published continuously for the past
eight years.

Daarshanika Sachchinthane

Selected writings of Sri Guruji from his exclusive column “Sachchinthane” in
Hemapura have been compiled and published as a book titled
“Daarshanika Sachchinthane.”

Samskruthi Kumbha

Samskruthi Kumbha, an extension of Malenada Uthsava, is a world cultural meet and a global
festival celebrating the pluralistic culture of humanity. It brings together people from
diverse ethnic groups and communities across India and the world. This year, Samskruthi
Kumbha is being celebrated at an international level.

Vocational Education

The Foundation operates a vocational training centre that has trained many youths in trades
such as soap and detergent production, driving, basic computer skills, marketing, banking,
tailoring, and other employable skills.

Facilities for Conferences, Conventions & Training Camps

The Kshethra has a large convention hall with a spacious stage for conducting conferences,
conventions, discourses, and training camps. The hall, along with sound systems and seating
facilities, is provided free of cost to external organizations for programs of public
interest, subject to terms and conditions.

Health Care Services

Although the Kshethra’s involvement in healthcare is at an early stage, its impact is
significant, especially among disadvantaged communities living in remote areas.

  1. Health Awareness Campaigns

    Health awareness camps and campaigns on diseases such as cancer and others have been
    organized, reaching more than one lakh people across the state. These campaigns are
    generally conducted during temple festivals.

  2. Free Medical Check-up Camps

    Doctors from various districts of Karnataka, as well as from Goa and Maharashtra, offer
    their services during these camps.

  3. Free Ambulance Service

    A 24×7 free ambulance service is provided to residents of remote areas within a 21 km
    radius of Bangaramakki. Thousands of people have benefited from this service, saving
    numerous lives in critical situations.
